Low Fat Winter Barley Recipe
Ingredients 1 lb turkey breast, boneless and skinless, ground 1/4 c celery, chopped Method 1/2 c onion, chopped 1/4 c green pepper, chopped 1 1/4 tsps salt 1/2 tsp marjoram 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1/8 tsp pepper 1 can chopped tomatoes (15 oz) 1/4 c barley, quick cooking 1 1/2 cups water 1. In a large saucepan, sauté the beef, celery, onions, and green pepper until the beef is browned, about 15 minutes. Drain. 2. Add the remaining ingredients, except the water, label and freeze. 3.
