Low Fat Beef Paillard Recipe
Ingredients 1 one-pound lean beef boneless sirloin steak 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper 2 teaspoons vegetable oil 1 tablespoon lemon juice 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley Method Trim fat from beef steak. Cut beef into 4 pieces. Flatten each piece beef to 1/4-inch thickness between waxed paper or plastic wrap. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 pieces beef. Cook 1 minute; turn. Sprinkle with half of the lemon juice. Cook about 1 minute longer or until desired doneness. Add remaining 1 teaspoon oil to skillet. Repeat with remaining 2 pieces beef and lemon juice. Sprinkle with parsley. 4 SERVINGS.
